Send a card that can be planted once the message has been read. The Riverine Rabbit card by Growing Paper sets the critically endangered Riverine Rabbit against the Doll's Rose and Desert Rose of its Karoo home, a portrait of country that asks very little and gives a great deal. It is printed on 240gsm seed paper made from recycled paper and embedded with a flower seed mix, so the card goes into a pot or a garden bed rather than a bin. Left blank inside for your own personalised message, folded to 13 x 13 cm and paired with a recycled brown envelope, with planting instructions on the back. Made in the Western Cape. It makes a thoughtful addition to any flower arrangement.
Delivery & Returns
Our own driver delivers Monday to Friday - not on weekends or public holidays. In Stellenbosch (Koelenhof, Devon Valley and Muldersvlei included), Bottelary, Klapmuts, Somerset West, Strand, Gordon's Bay, Paarl and Franschhoek, order before 12:00 for delivery the same day. The rest of our area, Cape Town included, is delivered on Wednesdays - order by 17:00 the working day before. Delivery orders start from R500; the delivery fee is by distance, shown before you pay. You choose the date at checkout; we deliver between 09:00 and 16:30. If nobody is there to receive it, your order comes back to the shop and a second delivery is charged again. Or collect from our shop at 44 Ryneveld Street, Stellenbosch - collection orders start from R500.
This is a stock item, so you may return it within seven days of delivery for a refund, provided it is unused and in its original condition and packaging. Fresh flowers and made-to-order arrangements are excluded, as they are perishable and made to your specification. If your order arrives damaged, tell us within 24 hours of delivery, with a photograph if you can.
